Our commitment to serve others ...
Outreach at Grace Church intertwines with almost everything and everyone in our parish. From individuals volunteering to help local charities to groups within the church raising outreach funds and organizing projects that literally span the globe, our commitment is to serve the Lord by making outreach an integral part of life in our church community. As Jesus told us, by carrying His love and compassion beyond the boundaries of the church to feed the hungry, care for the sick, clothe and shelter the poor and visit prisoners, it is as if we are showing that kindness to Him.

The "Outreach Group" at Grace Church...
In searching for an outreach ministry as a church or as an individual, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the staggering needs in the world as well as the many opportunities available for Christians who want to address those needs. A group of people at Grace, the "Outreach Group", meets monthly to prayerfully seek a clear spiritual focus for parish outreach ministries. In addition to keeping the parish informed about current outreach opportunities, the group plans and administers the outreach budget, distributes funding, and serves as a liaison between the parish and various outreach-related agencies. This group also proposes and supports outreach projects, encourages parish participation, works closely with the Vestry and takes responsibility for the stewardship of outreach funds.

Unless otherwise announced, Outreach Group meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month, 5:45pm, in the Edwards Library, and anyone interested in participating is warmly welcomed. The most current meeting minutes are available here or upon request at the church office.

Fundraising events and opportunities...
Outreach programs and activities are planned and scheduled throughout the year. Currently, plans are underway for three major fundraisers to supplement outreach support for local helping agencies:
Pentecost Sunday Brunch at Café Flambé, Sunday, May 30th, following the 7:45 and 9:00 services! Choose from delicious crepes or breakfast wraps, fruit bowls and juice, varying prices, complimentary coffee and tea, a great way to enjoy good food and fellowship as you reach out to help others!
The Grace Church Flea Market, Saturday, August 28th! New date, but still great, according to coordinator Bob Perry and the Men of the Church. Start gathering up your flea market donations now!
The Best of Country Store, Saturday, October 9th! Everything you love most about Country Store, all in one gigantic day of food, fun and fantastic bargains!
